The Harmonica - the ideal social instrument

Harmonica and Blues Harp Tuition/ Lessons

Quality Tuition/ Reasonable rates

The Diatonic 10 hole Harmonica (Blues Harp) is a versatile and fun instrument. It is portable and cheap as far as musical instruments go (around NZ $55.00-$60.00 for a wooden bodied harp and $15.00-$20.00 for a plastic bodied one).

People of all ages like the sound. Adults love it, children love it! It is cool, and it has soul! Even the simplest tunes sound great on it. You can play nursery rhymes, classical tunes, and rock songs . You can play both melodies and chords. You can make 'blues ' sounds , moaning and chugging and wailing like a train. You can join in with other people, and 'jam' with your mates.

Most importantly, the basic sounds and theory can be learned in only a few short hours . After that, with the right know-how, and some application, it is perfectly possible to become an accomplished 'social' harmonica player in a few weeks or even days.

Have you always wanted to learn to play the harmonica, but did not quite know how to begin? Have you been told that people just 'teach themselves' but still you would like some help?
